i wanted to add the classical analog expansion and pushed that "clear" button when i was confused about the tags directory. What it did was to erase the patch list of 500 instruments, never recoverable/fixable again. Now i've lost the list and have to download again the whole instrument... 20GB

    Are you sure?
Clear is supposed to uncheck all the tags you've selected.
Hit scan, then click on the scan folder thingy and see if they come back.

  4. Hit scan...are we "clear" on that? LOL...hope it works out for you!!!

I have had difficulty adding expansion libraries to the OUTPUT libraries as well, I forget the trick (SCAN over CLEAR absolutely), but clearing shouldn't erase the patches, just from your list, there is a way to get them back.... check over at the sister site on the threads regarding the instruments, as I remember getting good advice over there on it, I don't think you have to redownload it for sure!

find the ---SCAN---.nka file, edit name, change to xxx---SCAN.nka--- where x means space (3xspacebar), then load signal again and scan!

    enjoy!

Can someone perhaps upload the ---SCAN---.nka file from the factory presets with a link to it? I realized I couldn't add the classic analog expansion because I either deleted the scan preset when I installed Signal, or it wasn't present to begin with. I downloaded their demo version real fast to see if I could grab the file from it but it's not included.
