Has anyone else noticed Neutron 3 has a great deal more distortion on the exciter than neutron 2 did? I found it difficult to use the mix assistant to work at all on a pad I had without turning the exciter off. Any ideas why this would be so much worse than neutron 2?

 

From my own findings i have discovered that apart from the dynamics algorithms,the exciter algorithms do not really differ much (if at all)between the different products.if i was to hazard a guess as to why Neutron 3 is distorting more than 2,Alloy or Ozone (which all use the same algorithm for the exciter)perhaps it is calibrated differently internally.try run it slightly below or more what you would normally gain stage it at and see if it produces similar results with the earlier versions
