This is Merging Anubis with Neumann touch. One of the best sounding audio interfaces in it's range. Great stuff.

its Merging, they learned analoge @Nadra. The only thing Better is Probably Stagetec.
But Purifi, NTP and the above are all slightly out of the norm, so not really known.

 

Ok, this probably applies only to the a/d chip. But with >120dBA we are in the range of thermal noise. I doubt that the preamps can keep up. [EDIT: Yes, just as I thought THD+N is ≈ -110dB]
And even if they do, the new owner of this interface can at best brag about being able to record more than 25dB of thermal room noise under acoustic lab conditions that is not masked by thermal component noise. Great marketing stunt, Neumann. Congratulations.

Everybody know that with greater dynamic range comes greater electrical signal intensity (I read it on the internet) . Now everybody's mix can come in at over 0 LUFS. The loudness war is over, there's no more sonic glass ceiling. Isn't that absolutely amazing!

 

Looks real nice, but probably way too expensive for what they think it is. "The missing link" are things that are fruit of their imagination and/or things they compared to interfaces that are probably 1/10th of the price. Companies these days are making up issues to sell you the fix.

 

Me like!! Ready to sell one of my vintage amps to get it.

Displays can easily be replaced. It's as easy as replacing a gpu.

I think this is intresting for Pro Studios which have a Neumann Mic for a perfect Match and where Money is secondary. But 2000 Euros for an Interface is in my Opinion stupid and it will take months to be delivered (https://www.thomann.de/gb/neumann_m...CwibGFuZ3VhZ2UiOjJ9&reload=1&offid=1&affid=84) which seems like very Bad Product Management from Neumanns Side. If i would pay 2000 for something i want it asap. And for that Price i would expect Thunderbolt and a possibility to load Plugins to the Interface like UAD Apollo. Beside that i don't think any Pro Studio will use the Mixing Console because the already got better ones.
