tubePlug vst is a network audio plug-in that can connect multiple tubePlug users via the Internet and allows high quality multi-channel audio exchange between them.

Audiohive osx (beta) is a unique node-based, integrated recording, compositing, editing and mixing solution for collaborative audio post-production.

WormHole is a VST/AU plug-in to send audio streams over a local network. It is now possible to transmit audio between Macs and PCs over TCP/IP.

VSTunnel allows you to connect your VST supporting sequencers over the Internet, allowing musicians from all over the world to easily play sessions together.

NINJAM is a program to allow people to make music together via the Internet. Every participant can hear every other participant. Each user can also tweak their personal mix to his or her liking. NINJAM is cross-platform, with clients available for Mac OS X and Windows.

AudioTunnel consists of two VST effect plug-ins that allow streaming audio from one PC to another through Ethernet or WiFi adapters. It does only one thing but it does it as best as possible: network transmission is highly optimized, resulting in a smooth transmission with no stuttering. Audio is not processed in any way: no compression and/or bit reduction; setup is easy and straightforward.

    ReaStream
Supports streaming from host to host of audio and/or MIDI over a LAN segment.
Supports streaming from different host software on each end.
Supports UDP broadcast for streaming one to many (if local network can keep up).

AudioPort Universal is a stand-alone version of Audio Impressions' proprietary system for enabling samplers or computers dedicated to digital audio plug-ins to send multi-channel digital audio over gigabit Ethernet. AudioPort is cross-platform, so it doesn't matter whether you're sending audio from one or more Windows PC sample players to a Macintosh or Windows-based sequencer or DAW.

Source-Live streams your full bandwidth audio over the internet to anywhere in the world, directly from within your VST host. By simply pressing the 'invite listener' button, an e-mail is sent to one (or multiple) clients containing a hyperlink. Once this link is clicked, a QuickTime stream is automatically opened on their computer.

The Digital Musician Plug-in (DMP) sits in any insert channel of any VST or AU Audio Sequencer/ DAW enabling real time, online connection of different music production applications with one audio and video stream.

Does Reastream only work within Reaper?

Nice overview. I'll start scouting the net. I hope to come up with some more.
Those are exciting developments. Aren't they.

I saw the Garritan follow up of Gigastudio is allso able to work in a networked studio. And run on multiple systems locked together over GB-lan.

    And so,

What are the rules when using it this way?
You have two DAW's. And lock them using Midi Time Code? (MTC), and you need to have the correct OFFSET.... Hmmm...Any other pointers?
