Hey, nice morning talk :) Good morning everyone. Its an ugly, sunny, washed day here. No rain, no wind... :(

No sleep. Need slight corrections on pad on the very end, but its near. Added automation curves for filters and volume (my first :). Damn it, using daw is so much easier than doing arrangements 20 years ago on korg i3 and nothing else.

edit: just noticed how so many new curves and peaks appeared at the top of the waveform in soundcloud window. Yummy :)

I maybe mistaken but that does not sound like "Mutiny on the Bounty" on guitar.
You could more reverb on the snare.
The voices need to come up when they are on their own.
If that is Toraverb it has lost modulation. And the strings need that reverb modulstion as much as the guitar. It is the sound of EDM.

Hey Spencer! I used the preset Mutiny on the bounty on guitar and added modulation like in screenshot I added before. Maybe I should set that preset again and turn the modulation up? I did eq guitar a bit, to remove some nasty low end resonance.

If the snare is transitional snare, OK. If you mean repeating claps - OK.

Will turn up the volume on voices whenever they are on their own. I used Ice Beads from Reverberate on voices, like you suggested.

Can you just give me a pointer on how to add that modulation on strings and guitar in toraverb, for example, and maybe in reverberate? :)

Is it sounding better??? I think it really is :) :) Gonna do the homework now and post. I need the sound of EDM, but need to learn how to achieve it. With all the help here, I have no doubt!

    Here is the guitar.

Ok i inserted track and pasted toraverb with your settings. I turned off toraverb in guitar track chain. Now I only hear reverb while playing, since its 100%. Should I just turn down the dry wet know or something else?

And you mentioned modulation on vocals and strings, escpecially strings. I used reverberate there, but I dont know hot to set modulation there. Should I use almost the same Mutiny preset on strings?

Are you playing the Cello from sampler if so it could do with some vibrato. I would also try a half not delay on it with no repeats.
Now what have you got in the mastering section.

Cello is played from kontakt library. It already has some vibrato. Will see if I can add more. Not sure about half note delay. Now I need to learn how to add that lol ;) But Im afraid its going to make it softer.

In mastering I used what you told me, plus mid /side eq. Here is the pic.

    Oh Shit Confusion Reigns.
    DO NOT USE INSERT REVERBS.
Insert Toraverb on a bus and send with an fx send to Toraverb using my settings exactly.
So guitar is going to the mix bus.
Strings are going to the mix bus.
Toraverb is going to the mix bus.
Now send with a FX send to toraverb keeping the guitar going to the mix bus.
This is how you should be using Reverbs.
Now both the Strings and Guitar send to Toraverb.
There is heavy modulation on Toraverb and this is what is needed for Guitar And Strings.
And the Voices only send to Reverberate.
Reverberate needs to be setup on a bus.
    DO NOT USE INSERT REVERBS.

Damn :) Now I need to learn how to use that send, fx send and mix bus. Have no idea now where, what and how :) :) I copied the exact settings, they are different from my default preset. In my previous post there is mastering channel chain. So I am sending guitar, strings and toraverb to same toraverb preset on same mix bus channel, if that makes sense?

And sad about mastering disaster :( I really used what I thought I was told :). With the exception I added saturn :)

Put a half note delay on a bus panned to the middle.
Can somebody here explain how to setup a half note delay. I am busy trying to fix the mastering.
Send to it with a FX Send the same way as with reverbs.

Watching youtube on that :) No worries. Doing homework already.

In a nutshell, I create another audio track. Send guitar and strings to that track. Select audio to no input and turn on monitor IN. And add one toraverb there? lol...

This is what I had before. I created that track at the right and pasted toraverb in it. And I sent audio signal from guitar track to that track.

You have sends A B C D use one of them to send to Toraverb and another one to send to Reverberate.

Possibly solved with adding audio track I use as bus track. I set that track with no input and turn on monitoring in.

Now by turning A knob on track i send audio to new bus track I set level of guitar without fx. Toraverbed full wet is heard anyway in background. So with knob A im not regulating the amount of effect... But the volume of pure guitar notes I play.

Im very sorry, please dont let me too much time from you :) We will get to the bottom of this, its just the amount of info is overwhelming at moments.

Think I solved it. I SENT audio of track to fx bus, instead of leaving it as it is and just turn the knob. Will come in asap.

    Limiter-Revised.jpg

    Limiter Settings have been revised.
    Attack and Release 1ms now.
    Transients 50%
    Input Level 1.8db

    Must be in that order.
Multiband is Holding 3db gain reduction on bottom and 1.5db gain reduction in the other band.
Adjust the SSL threshold to hold 4db of Gain reduction. Adjust the output of the SSL so as the limiter just ticks over.
