I have installed the latest update to Ezdrummer 2 to ver 2.2.2
the stand-alone runs fine and shows the standalone ver # 2.2.2 and shows the plugin version as 2.2.2.
When I try to open it in reaper it shows the plugin version as #2.14 and some of the kits won't load.
How do I get it to show that I have updated it to 2.2.2?
I have tried rescanning and also cleared the cache and did another rescan, but the same result.
    I have attached 3 pix.
1st is the error message in reaper.
2nd is the plugin ver in reaper
    3rd is the stand-alone ver.
running win 10 w/ latest updates.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanx
    The Fishman

Maybe you accidentally installed the dll in a folder Reaper does not scan?

Thanx for the reply. but I did a scan on the entire drive and the only dll I found was in the vst folder.
I even replaced the original dll file which was older with the new one. And it still shows 2.1.4.

Uninstall everything and make a complete new install of the new version

Agree. Sometimes Toontrack's installers mess up when updating for some reason. If nothing else works, the best solution is usually to uninstall, delete everything Toontrack related and then re-install.

Download the 2.1.8 full version and update to the 2.2.2 directly afterwards.

    OK, Finally figured it out.
There were 2 ezdrummer dll files. the one in the vst folder that I replaced 3 times with 3 different versions ending with the 2.2.2 version and one in the common vst3 folder. the one in the vst3 folder was the older one. I replaced that and now the vst plugin shows the 2.2.2 plugin version.

Get "Everything" (free search tool). It makes finding files, such as duplicate plugins, and location of presets, etc., etc., so much easier.

It's just a general file search utility; but lightning fast.

There was a *.dll in the Common Files/VST3 folder? That's strange, I've never seen that before.
