    Welcome bro.
Its good, the only problem i have with is the drum kit,it feels detached from the rest of the tracks, drums also lack certain energy.
Maybe try some parallel compression on the drumbus, start with 10% and a high ratio to get it sound more dynamic and alive.
Also its important that you use a virtual console on each bus to glue the sound even more together.
    Just my personal suggestion.
    Other than that,its good.:like:

It's kind of hard to for me to judge a mix when the ideas aren't interesting. You can have a solid mix, but if the music is boring, what's the point?

He is learning and getting good results.Form and substance will come later. Also this is more sound design which certainly fits the TV genre very good.

Cool, you are using the right tools.
My secret weapon is FG116 for the drumbus, start with a low percentage and slowly go higher if needed.

Good mix moosh, doesn't sound hollow to me at all............just listening on a laptop tho.

Personally I wouldn't do much to it at all right now, all the detail comes through as it is............best advice would be to get on with something else and then revisit it after a few weeks/months and see what you think then.

It always surprises me, but when you put a bit of distance (time) between this stage and then come back later for another listen I think you'll find that you'll get a whole new fresh perspective on what if anything can be done to improve it.

Firstly, let me reiterate the welcome by VS and say ello to you as well.

Secondly. How brutal would you like me to be? The reason being, I finished mastering something this morning and it is fresh in my head.

That's actually VERY good advice. Mark it as 1st attempt and as you progress down the line you will see by how much.

Question for you. What track do you plan on working on next?
Rather than working on this one for ages. I really do like 'Seedz's idea of making the next one better. then you can gauge how much better you're getting.

I have listened to it again a few more times. If you really want to work on this one. I would use a glue compressor on the drums and then bring the output down a fraction.
On the master I would then boost the whole thing by about 3 or 4 DB.

As far as the whole thing goes it's really good. just not loud enough (except the drums)

It's not constructive to rip people apart. I spent a long time learning too and I remember how difficult it was in the beginning.

    You're very welcome too

Have to agree with Seedz and Sylenth on the fresh ears perspective.
I would get to hate certain songs and leave them unfinished ,where i was mixing them for weeks with shitty results till i just sent it all to hell.
Few months later i fired that song again, had it finished in two days and loving it again, was able to hear every mistake i have made.
So yes, time plays a big role especially in the beginning, after you learn to use your tools you get speed and then you are able to finish mixing a song in a day or two thus becoming a winner.
