game changer or not, those work fine for most people (who use them)imo
all the tools i use, do something i like, game changer?
    they just sound great:dunno:
i´ll adapt them into my workflow. till i find the exact purpose

    like now
acustic bass, works 80% of the time (for me)
rbass - waves api 550 or 560 new addition nani instead of wave arts saturator
i dont invent a new workflows, i just change gear that sounds better in those instances

doesnt work always, but works longterm:mates:

I already have the S432. You still need to use one instance for every band though. With the AlexB stuff you only need to think about using the non-clean band last in the chain, but with the Tim P stuff for instance, you need a additional instance just for the pre/harmonics (and sometimes two, pre and distort).

Sure, I could see myself selecting a Nebula EQ if I only need to do a high shelf, but most of the time I need to use several bands on a source to get the sound I'm after. Nebula EQ's are just to impractical and slows down my workflow.

I've tried to incorporate them a bit more when mastering, but I still feel like Pro Q-3 and TDR SlickEQ M satisfies all my mastering EQ needs.

The Nebula stuff sounds excellent, but Acustica still needs to work on creating a easy way for third-party developers to join their libraries into a single UI/instance IMO. I know that some developers do this, Dibiquadro and Prime Studio for instance, but I don't know if this requires some more coding knowledge or additional licensing and fees etc.

For me and many others, they just don't work well because of bugs (sticky meters or IRs that are not loaded correctly for instance). Your opinion doesn't really matter here. No offense.

But that's not really the point, is it?
The author's question was not if and how you integrate these plugins into your personal workflow, but when you realized that these plugins are a game changer. The question implies that the plugins are (sonically) a game changer.... And they don't.
Do they sound good? Yes. I would even say some of them sound great! Do they sound true to the original? Well, some of them are close.... others don't. If you use them sparingly, there's hardly a problem. It becomes a problem when they are used in larger chains, which can quickly degrade the sound, something that doesn't happen in a hardware chain with high quality gear. The bottom line is that the result of pure Nebula mixes often sounds like everything has been converted back and forth 100 times and sent through a phaser. This can sometimes have a positive artistic effect on the material, but it's not what I expect when working with real high-end hardware.

Seems i´m not the only one though
there are so many people using them without problems
no offens taken, and i just answered an open question:bleh:

they surely where, but algo came a long way (thank god)
why is it always a zero sum game? some sound awesome some don't
besides the question wasn't only about game changer, but also of them convincing you!

that's debatable, as its the same with hardware in general

Pure nebula mix? why do you want that?
hardware degrades in more than one way:rofl:
    100x, through a phaser?:dunno:
Plugin doctor is supposed to help with

and not create more of those

    LOL @this guy.
You are doing something wrong. Because if you did things right, you could not do things wrong.
Doing things right with nebula can in no way give you a phasing effect.

I dont agree with the "Technology advances increasingly making Acustica coding obsolete". Its not about technology. Its about the behavior of a specific piece of hardware. Its about harmonic distortion and dynamic response. Just try to scan LA2A by Timp P preamp in Plugin doctor. Its fuckin insane, the response is dynamic and you see the curve moving alone while its supposed to be static video streaming

What is cool about the dual tech is how you can access two types sounds in one plugin.
LO1 is brighter cleaner while LO2 is darker and juicier. LO2 sounds more expensive to me.
HI1 sounds cleaner and more sterile compared to H2 which sounds silkier.

I usually tend to use the LO2/H2 unit (at least for drums)
But apart from this I´m glad, max gives us these awesome skins. I love to experiment with the different instances and the program switching is so much easier with his skins.
(the same goes with RA-6, FocusComp etc.)

well... their signup page has been fucked for about a week as there is no recapata but yet everytime I put in info it says recapta failed... So I will never be using this company for any of their over priced offerings just because they fail to have a working sign up page (which will probably be "fixed" after their sales run out) fuck them, italian plugin companies suck and are about 12 years behind (like sknote)

Apperently the Recaptcha error is due to an ad blocker or add-ons in your browser.

They are buggy as hell, for instance... some plugins adds about one dB INTERMITTENTLY. You don't hear first when playing around.. until you add a Hard clipper... or see it with an analyzer. Their support is bad and doesn't acknowledge this even though you have sent them proof and how to find the bugs. They don't seem to care.
Pretty GUI's are just a waste when you can't even switch between settings without hickups or pauses.
CPU usage isn't an issue for todays CPU's... It's just that the user interfaces sucks and they are buggy.

I'm willing to consider my opinion if you can show me ONE plugin that is better than any of the native counterparts.

good to know, thanks. I guess I'll give them a try... just dont see how they could be any more different than all the other "analog modeled" plugins out there

That's a funny answer from AA. Months ago I told them that their marketplace page doesn't anylonger show any products in FF and Opera as long as NoScript is installed, even if all scripts are allowed. Their answer was basically, we don't care, uninstall it.
