    Confirmed new Traktor S8 coming from NI, jog-wheel free controller with dual screens.
    With Pioneer recently selling its Audio/DJ unit, is NI the future of DJ Technology? I guess time will tell! :excl:

    How much are they gonna charge for it? I mean the S4 is already priced at 799€, how much more expensive is it gonna be?

    I love NI and their products, especially my Maschine, but I'm afraid they're focusing so much on higher priced equipment now... I mean sure, it's no problem to earn a few thousand bucks even as a student with a side job, but it still is a hobby for me, it's not like I'm earning any money with making music...

    At the time of the article, the price was not available yet. Hopefully it'll be in a decent price range but I'd not be surprise if this is set in the $1000 range though.

    So jog-wheels no longer required or used in the DJ world? How do you now do the things that used to require a jog wheel? Just curious, I'm not into the DJ thing (yet) :).
