Native Instruments has launched Replika, a free delay effect plug-in
    for Windows and Mac.

REPLIKA packs two professional quality delays and a powerful diffusion algorithm into a sleek,
streamlined interface. Simple to use with a resonant filter and classic phaser built in, REPLIKA
is a versatile delay for anything from subtle slapback to warped sheets of noise.

REPLIKA provides three distinct algorithms. Modern is a digital delay that delivers the crystal-clear
repeats of high-end units. Vintage Digital delivers the charismatic grit of early studio delays.
Diffusion delivers a fresh sound that rides the line between delay and reverb.

A high-class resonant filter and classic phaser add subtle to drastic motion that can be sync’d
to the beat for intense sound design. You can even adjust your signal’s placement in the mix with
normal, wide, and ping pong stereo modes.

REPLIKA’s powerful sound shaping features are laid out on a slick, essentials-only interface. Choose
your delay mode and fine-tune lows and highs. One-knob subdivision adjustment steps you through the
most widely-used delay times. And adding modulation is just as easy with simple combinations of three
intuitive knobs and two buttons to choose between phaser and filter – lowpass, highpass or notch.

Anybody checked this bitch out yet? I'm diggin' it! What say you?

Last year's NI holiday gift was Supercharger followed by a paid upgrade to Supercharger GT.
I'm sure NI plans to do the same thing with this one. Replika GT?

The Replika GUI is a spitting image of Supercharger.
Probably the result of rampant inbreeding at Native Instruments.

    @ TheDingus,

BIG THANKS for that Great News ! :mates:

I just installed it right now and I'll launch my 'Reaper', then try that 'Beast' with my Guitar and some Virtual 'Stompboxes'. Conclusions will follow... *yes*

*yes* Hence its name : 'REPLIKA' !!!

    Price: "Free"

It requires Service Center and serial input. (When it could obviously run with just placing a simple .dll in your folder)

I seriously can't understand this shit. If I want a dongle or Service Center, I'll go get it. I wouldn't necessarily buy more products if I just happen to have Service Center. It's a major inconvenience and totally non-nonsensical. I actually appreciate the offer less.

I was excited to try it but now I got a major turn-off as it feels like such a hassle. It's already been deleted.

Oh yes, would be big fun to run "Service Center" ... what a list  I love their stuff! :bleh:
I place my bet on a GT version, too. Sounds pathetic but ... in R2R we trust.
    Thanks for  .

    :excl: WARNING :excl:

As rightly said by 'Gramofon' :

I just faced this problem when trying to authorize it with the personal 'Serial Number' provided by e-mail !

And as you can easily guess it : Nothing better for the 'NI Service Center' to look at your 'not so legitimate' Native Instruments stuff to f... all these apps !!! *yes*

So BEWARE ! It could certainly be wise to run this so-called 'FREE' REPLIKA in DEMO Mode till a Special 'Team R2R' Version may come...

    _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
    ADDED AFTERWARDS :

Some (personal) conclusions about this 'Little Beast' :

YEP ! It's a kind of Bomb... A GREAT and more than promising 'Delay Device'... which goes really far beyond a 'simple' Delay Plugin, mainly due to its 'Modulation' & 'Saturation' Sections. *yes*
A wide variety of Factory Presets are included, for almost any Musical context and/or purpose. *yes*

This is a 'Delay Device' to monitor very closely !

I understand what you are saying, but I wouldn't call Service Center an major inconvenience. It offers the best no hassle solution for plugin updates especially for those how have many of their products (or Komplete). If customers had to individually download updates from their website... :snuffy: Many people would probably just stop updating.

Damn, yes it requires NI Service Center. :( Why not simply giving us a DLL to download and that's it. :snuffy: Shame. It does look like one of those "workhorse" delay plugins, and rather flexible, too. :(

Where did you get this information?

My understanding is that it will work precisely the way that Supercharger/Supercharger GT did.

After the FREE promotion, it will be available for purchase. A paid 'upgrade' will be available for those who own this FREE version,
or who purchased this version after the FREE promotion ended. A full 'upgraded' version will also be available for direct purchase.

What new features will be added to the 'upgraded' version are unclear at this time.

Actually, I couldn`t find anything about GT or not, but I haven`t "searched" for, just the news ... Maybe it`s like with "Driver".
Where did you get your understanding from? Or do we get ... another bet?

    Edit: Got It!
