Does it work with cracked Kontakt & its libraries?

 

what exactly do you want to know?
if cracked kontakt works within the cracked (or legit) maschine software?
or if you can control cracked kontakt with the maschine hardware?

I've had no issues with either. A friend has Komplete Kontrol Mk2 61 and Maschine Mk3 both work great with any Kontakt Library or vst with nks. He has cracked Kontakt and Maschine software. No experience with them on mac,but largely no issues on win 10 or 11. Occasionally one Ni vst will become demo after a few months (Massive or Reaktor usually) uninstall/reinstall of that vst fixes. Short of that works pretty well

 

Thanks, I appreciate that! I wanted to ask before I swallow a pill and purchase a "maschine" I saw it on YouTube and it looked so retro in this one dude's "Jef Gibbons" reviews on the play series instruments. I want to set mine up kind of like his

 

That's OK, because neither does NI. They made a version of Komplete Kontrol as an AU .component format plugin. (Apple Audio Units). Every NI plugin I have ever tried has an AU version that can be used in Logic, etc. Take a guess which NI product cannot load AU format plugins inside of it? Komplete Kontrol.
