Now that the permissions issue is out of the way...

Again, you can extract the setup executable if it isn't already extracted yet, and find and install the version of vcredist that comes with Maschine 2 under the file bag folders, which is 14.16.27027 (if I'm not mistaken). You only need to re-install the x64 version since the Maschine .exe and VSTs are 64-bit only. Since you said your OS is up to date, I assume ucrtbase.dll is already up-to-date as well since it's an OS file, so it has to be something else...

What's your version of Windows? Right now I'm at 20H2.

    @kh_minusone

    Windows 10 Home 20H2 too.

Digging on the bag folder I found the vcredist.exe which is indeed the 14.16.27027 but when trying to install it I get an error "0x80070666 - Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product use add/remove programs on the control panel"

But if I just installed the latest vcredist from MS website shouldn't that be the most recent? Should I then uninstall that latest version and install the one that comes with Maschine setup instead?

I also assume ucrtbase.dll is up-to-date but no way of checking it...

@jojers I'm running out of ideas... what if you copy ucrtbase.dll to both Maschine's and Studio One's .exe locations?

1.) First Download this from the sister site:
(I have install it on Windows 10 in Studio One - Working without problems)
    Native Instruments - Maschine v2.13.0 VSTi - 02.05.2021 - 248 MB - CE - V.R
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.) Uninstall Maschine2 (use the Un-Installer and delete manually all Files):

    C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments
    C:\Users\Public\Documents\NI Resources
    C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Native Instruments
    C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Native Instruments

    C:\ProgramData\Bome Software\Bome Virtual MIDI
    C:\ProgramData\Native Instruments
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.) a. Use the Free CCleaner Tool ( Registry Cleaner) / b. Restart the PC
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    4.) Install the " Native Instruments - Maschine v2.13.0 VSTi - 02.05.2021 - 248 MB - CE - V.R "

Did it again what you instructed (the only thing I hadn't done before was cleaning the registry because I usually don't like reg cleaners but this time I need to try everything so I did it now) but still no luck...

(1.) Repair Windows with sfc / scannow

In some cases, Windows system files are damaged or not installed correctly. Therefore errors occur when calling such components. In such cases, a specific Windows repair can help. Please proceed as follows to repair Windows:

Open a command prompt: Windows key on the keyboard, then immediately type “cmd.exe”. A hit list will now appear showing “Command Prompt” or “cmd.exe” - depending on the Windows version. Right-click this hit and select “Run as administrator” from the context menu.

(Note: You can copy the following command line to the clipboard. Right-click and then “Paste” you can then paste it into the console instead of typing it.)

You are now in a DOS window. Enter the command here

    sfc / scannow

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Use the Google Translator: https://translate.google.com/?hl=de
    https://support.native-instruments....Error-NI-Produkt-could-not-be-loaded-Windows-
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(2.) MASCHINE 2 error message: "Error. * NI product * could not be loaded" (Windows)

    symptom

When trying to load a preset from the MASCHINE 2 Browser, you get the following error message:
Error: * NI Product * could not be loaded.
    FM8_could_not_be_loaded.png

    root cause
This means that MASCHINE cannot load the NI plug-in associated with the preset. The reason for this can be:

    - KONTAKT or REAKTOR are not installed.
    - The NI plug-in was moved to another location or deleted after installation.
    - The installation path of the NI plugin is missing in MASCHINE.
    - Your hard drive has been renamed.

    solutions

Follow the steps in this video to solve the problem:

In addition, all troubleshooting steps can be found here:

    1. Install KONTAKT and REAKTOR
Many NI instruments require KONTAKT or REAKTOR (player) - so both must be installed:
    Open Native Access.
Click the Installed products tab and check whether KONTAKT and REAKTOR are installed: InstalledK_R.png
If KONTAKT and / or REAKTOR are missing from the list, open the Not installed tab and install the missing products.

    2. Using the repair function
Open the Installed products tab in Native Access. If a yellow REPAIR button is displayed, the installation must be repaired. You can find instructions on how to do this in this article or this video.

After the repair or if no repair button is displayed, continue with the next step: FM8_Repair.png

    3. Add the location of your plugin in MASCHINE
MASCHINE needs to be informed about where your plug-ins were installed. This is only a problem if you chose a custom location for your NI plug-ins or moved them after installation. The following explains how you can ensure that MASCHINE is accessing the folder where your plug-ins are located.
Open the Preferences in Native Access.

Note the path given under VST 64 location:

In our example, the custom path is called: C: / VSTPlugins
Open MASCHINE 2 in standalone mode. You can find the program at:
    C:> Programs> Native Instruments> MASCHINE 2
Open the Preferences. The path of the VST 64 location noted above must be displayed under Plug-ins> Locations. If you don't see it, add it by clicking the Add button:
    M_AddLocation.png
Navigate to the noted path and confirm with OK.
Your plug-in folder has now been added to the list. Now click the rescan button:
    M_Location_Rescan.png
You should now be able to reload the preset.

    4. Rescan your MASCHINE database
If the previous steps did not solve the problem, the MASCHINE database will need to be reset. To do this, proceed as follows:
Close MASCHINE and press Windows Key + R on your keyboard to open the Run window
Now type in '% localappdata%' and click OK.
    RunDialog_DE.png
Now the folder Appdata> Local opens
Navigate to the Native Instruments folder and delete the MASCHINE 2 folder there.
    DeleteFolderM2_DE.png
Start MASCHINE 2 again in standalone mode. The database will now be re-initialized. This can take a few moments.
If you use custom VST folders, you have to add them back in MASCHINE under: Preferences> Plug-ins> Locations.
You should now be able to reload your presets into MASCHINE.

(1.) sfc / scannow didn't need to repair anything. It looks all fine.

(2.) doesn't apply to my case as I don't even get that far. It crashes before anything loads at all.
As soon as I click the exe I get this error:

Using the repair function of Native Access could be a possibility but as stated before I don't have Native Access installed. Should I install it? I'm not sure it would mess up things even more as I have other NI software installed (and working fine) too.

I installed machine 2 v2.13.0 in "Windows 10 Pro v2004" and it runs without any problems. That means this version is free of errors. It may be that your "Windows 10 / 20H2" is causing problems, I can't help you.

If problems arise, the program is uninstalled. Since old remnants of files and new installed files can cause problems, all installed files are deleted. With the program "CCleaner" you also de-install all machine entries:
"CCleaner Free -> Extras - Uninstall - Native Instruments - Machine etc.
It can also happen that Windows shoots files.
That's why you use sfc / scanow.

Uninstall Maschine2 (use the Un-Installer and delete manually all Files):

    C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments
    C:\Users\Public\Documents\NI Resources
    C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Native Instruments
    C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Native Instruments
    C:\Users\Name\Documents\Native Instruments
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\Shared Components
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins
    C:\Program Files\Native Instruments
    C:\Program Files\Steinberg
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Native Instruments
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Steinberg\Shared Components
C:\ProgramData\{2CD659BC-750F-4694-B214-40A0CE94308D} or other Names *Multiple directories for each installed NI product*
    C:\ProgramData\Bome Software\Bome Virtual MIDI
    C:\ProgramData\Native Instruments

You should also free the "registry" of old entries.

    Execute -> Regedit
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    SOFTWARE
    Native Instruments
    Delete:
    Machine 2 bundle
    Machine 2 Factory Library
    Machine content
With the program "CCleaner" you can delete the rest:

CCleaner Free -> Registry -> Scan
Now all data from machine 2 has been deleted - machine 2 no longer exists on the PC. This is called a clean system.
Now you should run the "Malwarebytes AdwCleaner" once. (Effective elimination of adware
Restoration of performance. The world's most popular adware cleaner finds and removes unwanted programs and junkware,) https://de.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/
Now you do a restart - so that the operating system can take over the changes in the registry.

If problems persist, everything from Native Intruments would be deleted and reinstalled.

Get a backup of hard disk C: / so if you are infected by a virus or you have blue screens etc., you can restore the entire hard disk C: / using the start disc. For example with the software: O&O DiskImage Professional.

    Install Maschine 2 v2.13.0 VSTi

All Native Instruments dll are in the same folder

    Finally solved !!
First of all, a HUGE THANK YOU to @BEAT16 , @FrankPig and @kh_minusone ! I really appreciate your help :metal:

So, seams to have been a mix of issues:
Here's what I finally did to fix the ucrtbase.dll problem (maybe 1 or 2 steps might be unnecessary but it worked...)

    - Uninstall any versions of Maschine and clean files left behind with RevoUnistaller
    - Install Windows 10 SDK
    http://download.microsoft.com/downl...-A916-FB7C47FBC89E/standalonesdk/sdksetup.exe
    - Restart
    - install Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes _ here's a link for an All in one pack:
    https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/
    - Restart
    - run Command Prompt (as Admin):
    1. Type DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth (note the space before each "/"), and then press Enter.
(Note: This step may take a few minutes to start and up to 30 minutes to complete.)
    2. After you see a message that says "The operation completed successfully," type sfc /scannow (note the space between "sfc" and "/") and press Enter.
    3. After you see a message that says, "Verification 100% complete," type exit.
    - Restart
    - Install Maschine
    - Disable Firewall and Turn on Flight Mode (this step didn't work before)
    - Run Standalone Maschine 2.exe
    - After it scans all plugins and loads GUI - close Maschine and then Firewall can be turned back on again
