Just reinstalled my music machine, windows>updates>cubase>Native Instruments Guitar Rig 5 Pro v5.1.1 UNLOCKED.
Opened cubase and loaded guitar rig, could see rammfire etc under "products" but no presets.
Same for all the other stuff under "products" like reflektor, etc.
Anyone know how to get the presets working?

Uninstalling and reinstalling it did nothing, actually made it worse as there is nothing at all under products after i did that. (though i can still access the modules and load them by hand, just no presets)
Rescanning in standalone or plugin mode did the same.

I seem to remember having this issue many moons ago and was only solved by having a fresh system with nothing from n.i installed on it yet, then instaling komplete 7, running each app in standalone mode first then the plugins inside my host had the presets.

I really hope someone has a solution for me that does not involve komplete 7, as all i want is guitar rig installed with the presets for the extra modules available.
Anyone know how to fix it?

Edit - found a long way around it by using d1 of komplete 9 ultimate to install the content, then using the version in the post title over the top of it.
T'was a pain in the ass but it worked...
Hope it helps someone else avoid the same problem.

This looks like a "path" or "Reg" issue.
You can try to uninstall everything, then (on RegEdit...) delete the keys at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Guitar Rig 5

Reinstall app and use the last version of Team R2R release v5.2.0 >>

Native Instruments Gutair Rig v5.2.0

Native Instruments Guitar Rig 5 Pro v5.2.0 Update


[New Install]
1.Run our NI_InstReg tool.
2.Burn or mount the image.
3.Install.


[Expansions]
You need to install the latest releases.
Otherwise, expansion does not work.

Native.Instruments.Traktors.12.v2.0.0.Update-R2R

[Old Expansions]
Currently, some expansion updates are missing.
It's better to wait until updates supplied.
However, we made registration tool for our old release.
Install old expansions and run "NI_Reg_GR520Missing.exe".

It activates :
Solid Bus Comp, Solid Dynamics, Solid EQ
Transient Master, VC 2A, VC 76, VC 160

Most of those product updates are availble for VST/RTAS version.

Native.Instruments.Solid.Dynamics.v1.1.0.Update-R2R
Native.Instruments.Solid.EQ.v1.1.0.Update-R2R

You should run our RegTool only if you want to use them inside GuitarRig (By Team R2R 2013).

Pay attention on the install paths.
