Native Instruments has announced that in order to utilize its development resources in the best interest of its wider userbase, it has decided to discontinue the Kore product range.

Yeah, the whole Kore thing always seemed a little poorly planned, but it actually is a really fun program to play with and had a lot of pretty cool libraries, but never seemed to get any proper development.. oh well.

    That's a shame...

I kinda like Kore, it is very practical. If you have FM8, Absynth etc. installed as well, you can find all the sounds from them in the Kore user interface. Which means that you can browse in one plug-in through the sounds of several virtual instruments.

Well i never liked the KORE. It's way too complicated for me to use!
Hopefully NI will produce better stuff from now on...
Though they produced great stuff as: KONTAKT, FM8, Absynth 4 and 5 and more.
Some of them i bought really!

If you use Absynth, how on earth can KORE be too complicated for you?

You choose a patch, then you have the choice of 8 different presets per patch, and can fine-tune it with some knobs.
How could it be simpler than that? :dunno:
