you have to asign the ContentDir location in regedit (not from Native access)
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Kontakt Factory Library
    ContentDir E:\Kontakt Factory Library

it can use any other name/path
    idem for reaktor content

    1. Move the library to the desired location on your system.
    2. Launch KONTAKT. The Libraries tab in the KONTAKT browser displays the following error message:
Library content not found. Click Locate to set the content.
    3. Click the Locate button.
    4. Click Browse for folder
    5. Navigate to the new location of the KONTAKT Library.
    6. Select the KONTAKT Library folder and click Open / OK.

Sometimes my external hard drives get assigned a new drive letter and all libraries have to be located manually any workaround to prevent this from happening?
