there's fundamental problem of how Windows treats bootloaders,
if you install Windows on a computer where another system is present, it always screws the bootloader of the first system, no matter which target drive you pick during install process - most users learn about that problem if they remove first system, and the freshly installed system cannot boot at all,
and similar problems arise when having multiple Windows system drives - antimalware, updates and indexing usually breaks the system - advantage of MacOS+Windows combo is, neither system can write onto such disk (MacOS cannot write on NTFS drives, Windows cannot even read HFS+/APFS drives)

 

In case nobody mentioned before dBPowerAmp is the best batch audio processor (Win) hands down IMHO.
It can do most if not all the things on that list. Quality, fast, can host plugins in the effect chain...

 

Well that sucks. I was just looking on tonymacx86 and I see a couple "successful" "Ryzentosh" builds. (heh, the name) Hardware wise it looks like I could possibly go that direction, with some sacrifices, but I na. Maybe in the future.

Another question for anyone that knows Macs and Windows. Is there a Find Any File equivalent for Windows? It does exactly what it's called, super useful for people who are really anal about keeping a clean system or just want to find some files that may not otherwise like to be found.

 

I'm not a mac user at all and never will be but I found this program mentioned on a site about its use for running windows based apps, programs, games, etc on macs, I assume it is similar to Wine for Linux , it has been updated as WineBottler 4.0.1.1 and is free from the developer at https://winebottler.kronenberg.org
I hope it helps relieve some of the envy of our extremely abundant Windows software. Just kidding!!

well, Windows File Explorer is rather crap, very basic,
to do a basic thing like sort files+folders together by whatever criteria is impossible there, expandable "List" view (as in MacOS) is nonexistent either - if you'll run into looking for replacement of Windows File Explorer, I'd highly recommend taking a look at Directory Opus
