According to me these Vst Plugins will be rule 2018 what you guys think

 

I'm not interested in any of those synths but really a beautiful piece of music. I even don't think the creator of that piece be interested in too.

actually this is a teeny-weeny list and doesn't feature a fraction of great synths from THIS year.

 

Honestly i think these kind of discussions don't have any real value for music creation. What will "rule" mostly depend on user and his needs not tools itself. It was always like that from beginning.

Someone mind to share their VST picks? Don't know anything worthy apart from serum and some other vst's so share your insights.

My list doesn't change much over the years. Mostly updates to what I already used.

Ozone, Neutron, The Glue, The Drop, Sonic Sweet, NLS, LX480, IQ Reverb, Surfer EQ...

jk. But for real there's rarely a sound design task i need to work outside Avenger for. For anything else there's Harmor and Sytrus.

I have a drum rack sending midi to a Permut8 on the drum bus of pretty much everything I make in Live these days. It can just do so much and I love my glitchy effects.

Repro 5 looks really promising, once they clean up the CPU cosumption. Right now one instance on HQ/Multicore hits 35% on my i7 6700k. Man that plugin though.. every aspect of every synth from u-he just sounds so fucking good. The type of sounds their preset contributors are able to accomplish with those plugins too.. makes me feel like a rookie.

 

Yup, everything u-he is awesome. I seem to go to Zebra most often, though as I say, they all are very happnin'. As a place setter I have for a long time been using Xfer Nerve and working off that to bring in percussion from the outside world to complete that end. The Legend and Omnisphere are two others as well as Surge I also use.
