A pic of my new studio desk I have built. Sanded and ready to be stained



This was built to house my current studio equipment.

I ended up not going for a new desk. What I have is really basic, but I does actually suit me. and I don't have a lot of hardware like you do. Man, I can't wait to see it all stained, sealed and setup. really nice, man.

I Was using a standard Buffet type table, 8'

 

I do not have pdf plans. i can give you measurements from mine but it was built to hold my gear, easy enough to modify to your own requirements though

 

I do not have any real carpenter skills. I looked at many, many pics of desks on the internet and then kinda of pencil sketched and idea and started measuring my equipment to fit in my design. This is the first time I have ever attempted anything like this. It was a learning Experience but no that difficult.

 

I have some ideas i'm running through my head. Gonna work it out today or tomorrow and i'll let you know what i'm gonna do.
