Alongside what I do with Dimension Flux, I have been working on music for film now, and decided to share my first complete piece. Any constructive feedback is welcome!

 

Nice, I like it even if it's a bit repetitive maybe.
BTW which libraries were used in your song?

 

Trying to go for the whole epic score thing. Tried to keep the parts as realistic as possible so it could still be played by a real orchestra (even though that's unlikely)

Yeah, maybe i could've expanded on the melody a little, i hoped there was enough interest from all the harmonies moving around it to keep it going. I used Cinematic strings for all the string parts, Trailer brass for the french horns, Omnisphere for the piano/Sub and Damage for the percussion. i want to try using Cinematic studio strings or maybe Majestica for the next piece.

 

I really like this piece. Nice epic Orchestral Ambiance. Not to over-complicated or overwhelming, yet gives the presence of an Epic Trailer all at once. Great work @d-flux

 

Thank you! Yeah i come from a dance music background so i like repetitive simple themes, i wanted to see what i could do with orchestrating a simple progression and build it from there.
