Hi there I have been lurking on this forum for a couple of years but only now just joined.
    I am a singer-songwriter/bedroom producer.

Here is a bio I made:

Andrew Brady is a singer-songwriter and music producer from Dublin, Ireland.
He began playing guitar and writing songs in 2006, after remixing hip hop tracks and dabbling in production since 2004.
He released his first homemade album in 2007 "Tenderness Is Few And Far Between", which featured one of the first songs he wrote, "How Can I Refuse You?". This track has been covered many times since then, most notably by UK rock band The Struts, in 2012.
Andrew released a further 2 albums in 2008, then invested in an
M-Box 2 audio interface in 2009, which led to an improvement in the sound quality of his tracks.
Andrew made his first 3 homemade albums from 2007-2009 by plugging a mic and a guitar into a microphone slot on a laptop.
Andrew uses the FL Studio software for recording and arranging his music.
In 2012 he released another homemade album titled "Runway", a one line lyric taken from his popular 2010 song "Footsteps In The Driveway".
He sent the album to a few music blogs and was lucky to have one review it.
In 2014 Andrew made 3 albums worth of material, but only released some of the tracks, aswell as losing an album's worth of recordings.
In 2015 Andrew only wrote and recorded 3 new original songs, "Jungle Jam In A Sunlit Shadow", "Colour My Dreams With Gold" and "The Record Stores Ain't Got The Records That We Play".
He also re-recorded some older tracks in 2015, with the notion of keeping all of the raw parts for his songs since then, than eventually losing them and only being left with the final mp3's.
In 2016 Andrew plans to release music again and improve his online image.

Andrew, are you afraid that people might forget your name before they reach the end of your bio?

    Just kidding, good luck.

Andrew, I would stop referring to yourself in the third person and replace all the he's with I. You have some good stuff, Keep it Up. Be bold, Take charge. (seriously re-write that bio :))

    That is Funny.

EDIT: You do have some really nice tunes, been listening through your soundcloud. nice work my friend.

    Nice to meet you Andr...oid.

Reminds me of a Seinfeld episode

Anyway.. lurker or not... its typically a good thing to be somewhat active in a forum before 'he' starts advertising 'himself' in 'his' first post

Sorry my man but the whole 3rd party bio thing is just weird, do Adele a favor and fix it.

    @Andrew Brady Your stuff is quite quirky in a good way. I would like to suggest having a listen to Guided By Voices as a possible source of musical inspiration. They themselves mined all the great 60's British bands for ideas;

Ideas are more important than sound, which can be fixed at any time, so maybe keep on coming up with new stuff. If there is going to be a next stage of development, other people will come into the equation with their producers and whatnot. It is very hard to be on your own learning how to be a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter, arranger, technologist, programmer, producer, engineer, mixer, etc.. In fact, it's kinda crazy that any hobbyist on here has to be a polymath just to do the basic things. In the music industry most people do one or two things and that's it. I think it is a tremendous achievement by anybody who manages to get any demo material online all by themselves :mates:

Thanks, I have never been to a studio. Before people told me about quality control and (quality over quantity), I have toned down a bit lately, I did read a comment somewhere online that "Quantity becomes Quality over time", so....
