Hi folks,

I don't usually post my own music because I really compose little music. However, this is a song made collectively with my gigging band. It's a landmark for us because it went from "see what I got on my acoustic guitar" to publishing on YouTube in two weeks. Our first EP took about 10 years . Anyway, this song is a call for peace. My country has been in a huge political crisis, with demonstrations and violence going on for a while now. Although this song reflects what’s happening in my country, Peru, it might relate to all countries in Latin America, maybe around the world. I'm not big on politics because it hurts my soul, but the moment the singer came up with this idea, I thought it was time for our next song. I produced the song, from recording to mixing. Mastering was courtesy of Plugin Alliance’s Mastering Studio. The singer and I worked on the lyric video ourselves.

The lyrics are in Spanish, and YouTube auto translate doesn't get the nuances of the message and the local idiosyncrasy, so here's a translation of the lyrics, in case you are interested:

Thankfully regardless of all the political bullshit going on both sides and everything in between, we haven't been catastrophically screwed up...yet .

Great song, great playing, great production, great message, great video Would like to hear more of your band



I know it doesn't really sound like it but it reminded me of Justica, Tierra y Libertad by Maná which I haven't heard for a long time and will look up again now.
