I never was a big HipHop fan. I discovered LoFi HipHop for approximately a year now, and a month ago decided to make my first LoFi HipHop production. Some people say it's not really HipHop, I can understand that. Tell me what you guys think. Thank you !.

My favorites are Tear me up and Sad Saw, nevertheless all are very special for me.

 

Everything is hip hop as long as a rapper can rap on it. Genre boundaries are not clearly defined, but I would place it in the area of trip hop, although it also contains elements from other styles. Reverse Fy and Sad Saw are really nice. I like it.

Wow, I love your music!

 

I like what your doing, the textures, the vibe. However, it's not Hip Hop in my mind without libretto. It could be anything from exit music for a film as the credits roll or any other incidental music, for without a voice expressing it just doesn't pass my perhaps ignorant take on the genre.

 

Very nice work in total. It's more on the triphop/lo-fi genre than actually hip hop, since it lacks vocals and tends to be chill and trippy a lot. Kinda "smoker's delight" sensation if you know what i mean . Some nice influences there too, overall i like it a lot. Good luck with what you are doing mate.
