    wooooh, been a looooong time since I last wrote, mixed and mastered a track. Was a bit rusty and took me some time to get my head to remember things and set things up again but I managed to get it together. For a first track in a while, I think this turned out better than anything I've done before lol...

    Nice musical journey.D rums can be a bit higher. Synths are great a bit more reverb, use some phasing on synthd with distortion on end.
    What was your mix buss in order?
    What was your Mastering buss in order?

    hahaaa lmaooo thanks. That's still better than crap :D

    Hmm yes you are right about the drums. Kicks are orite but I had to bring up the percussion more. Not necessarily the levels but I had to make them more snappy (which I actually forgot to do lol I usually know how to do it...). Thanks for the suggestions :)

    To answer your questions, I don't have a single mix buss but for each buss (Drums, Bass, Lead etc) I apply a very soft EQ, Saturation and Transient Modulator.

    As for my master, my order was:

    Stereo Imager > Soft Saturation > Tape Saturation > Upwards Compressor > Multiband Compressor > Limiter.

    Don't know much about this kind of music but I like a lot the synths. I think the percussion can be improved, don't ask me how because I don't give a shit know how :disco::winker:

    Hey, good idea. Being a metalhead I can pleasantly picture a guitar solo entering, say, when the percussion starts.

    You really have to quit seeing Terminator II time after time dude... :rofl:

    Artistically the track says 'alarm' and 'urgent' - offer it to CNN for their Breaking News. But in general a well made track. Mastering-wise it sounds dull, not polished and shiny. Hey, if the drums needed to go through so much help you're using the wrong drums lol. You might as well just record yourself tapping your fingers and put that through a world of filters and fx, see what happens. Keep working, practice makes perfect.
