My initial thought is that someone is building a 1080p gaming system. Not a music production system.

The i7 provides graphics (ditch the 1660 Super) and, only requires a 240mm or, a 280mm AIO. An air cooler from BeQuite, Noctua or Scythe rated for that CPU would be a better choice for longevity.

The 7200RPM HD should be replaced with a 500GB 2.5" SSD (or NVMe). Assume this is the boot device.
Look for RAM & additional fans that are RGB. Corsair make very good LPDDR4 memory with good performance & pricing.
RGB controllers and/or software can cause unwanted background resources being used (also known to cause unexplained system crashes).

There are also better cases with good air flow & dampening for a production system build. They will also allow you to position the system underneath without worrying about shattering the glass panel. Also less noise at ear level & cooler ambient air.

As stated. My initial observation without spec checking you list.

 

Better buy an SSD hard drive.

I'd hold off just a bit longer. I am also getting ready to build new desktop and laptop systems in the first quarter when the new stuff is released.. I dont see a point in investing in "old" technology, so my shortlist is basically 12th gen CPU + Z690 MB + DDR5 + PCIe 5.0. Pricing right now, around here anyway, for anything older just doesn't make sense as I'd only be saving a couple few hundred bucks and have little to no upgrade path.

take the i512600k and call it a day. 1660 is awesome, get that too for the occasional cs:go killin` spree

 

Save up 80-90 bucks, ditch the hdd and get a 2TB M.2 SSD instead (Kingston costs around $140). Also as previously mentioned, don't buy a graphics card now unless you find an uber deal. They're insanely overpriced. A 1660 costs as much or more than what a new gen -should- cost atm. Be patient and check prices/offers regularly.
