Use of kms is probably against something in M$'s EULA.. and the info leaks at some point.. and I have "above average" knowledge on how to block an OS on many levels. I've used kms (MDL is a good ref for all these tools). Didn't need it bc of all the W7 keys working

I say - get the facts and then choose your poison. M$ just want to get into your system..

Mind, legally - bypassing legitimate (something) is NOT stealing. It's much worse.. because it applies to things like bypassing some security algorithm (e.g., like the banks have). It's a legal catch. But we're getting kinda off-topic here.. so again, you're free to choose your poison ;)

Oem keys who cares microsoft? just buy a key if you go online
Download the iso from microsoft without media creation tool
Use firefox and change your user agent to android refresh page and you can directly download the original iso from microsoft

Just wanted to point out the best "alternative" activation method is "Microsoft Activation Script". Despite KMSPico being nice and good.
Of course, if you need to be on the safe side you'll need a valid license. With the mentioned toys there's no hurry though.

I don't know if things changed but Thunderbolt is Intel only tech right ? AMD based PC can't have thunderbolt right ? I don't know much about this and also checking out if I missed something. Correct me if im wrong.

 

What differences have you noticed in your DAW’s performance that wasn’t there before? I’m currently rocking a 3800x overclocked with 64gb ram and I was thinking about upgrading to the 5900x but if the jump from 8 cores to 12 cores makes no difference in ableton’s performance then I would rather save the money.

For music production it is best to use PBO & one-to-one XMP memory profiles for best/stable performance.

 

For the 3600X, 3700X or, 5900X- The Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro, Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) or
ASUS ProArt B550 Creator (Thunderbolt 4)

For the 5900X or 5950X - The Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro

 

difficult to say exactly what you would experience, I can only truly tell you about my experience coming from an intel 8700k to a AMD 5900x. Using the 8700k (OC to 4.7) by the time I would be getting to a point where my song was finished, while bouncing down a minimal amount of tracks, my ASIO peak meter was topping, with the 5900x (stock) I have yet to reach that point without forcing it artificially. Significant reasons for that obviously double the cores, and the AMD is much better at ramping the speed up and down without it causing Cubase to glitch.
I waited for the 5000 series as I believe the big difference between the 3000 was the unified cache, apparently it reduces latency and improves performance drastically.
My experience with this AMD build has been extremely positive, which is why I’m prepared to write about it. I’m not a fan boy of either AMD or Intel I’m just experienced enough to what may work for me and what doesn’t and I have to say I’m very pleased with the results. I don’t believe that it’s crucial to buy this or that motherboard/memory combination, however you can get a small performance boost by using higher speed memory up to 4000, but price/boost ratio puts 3600 RAM in the sweet spot. Otherwise leave it pretty much to it’s own devices.
Remember it’s your build do your homework, work out your price v possible performance boost and weigh up your options, don’t try to be greedy but build a stable and performant system, good luck.

 

ableton assigns channels to threads, so you could use 50% more channels. you can also group your effects because ableton also assigns effect racks to threads. if all you do is stack 100 plugins in one channel there is no benefit besides ipc and clock speeds.
