Kraftwerk is a German band formed in Düsseldorf in 1969 by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider. Widely considered as innovators and pioneers of electronic music, it was among the first successful acts to popularize the genre. The group began as part of West Germany's experimental krautrock scene in the early 1970s before fully embracing electronic instrumentation, including synthesizers, drum machines, and vocoders.

These are a coupla my older favorite songs from one of the first albums that I ever bought. On Prisoners On The Road
John Mayall gives Eric Clapton 48 bars to play an amazing lead after Sugarcane Harris melts the vinyl on fiddle for 32.

In this sad homage to Jimmy Hendrix, Mayall speaks to the danger of drugs and the bad outcome in this case in particular. More Clapton and a crazy tone he coaxes out of his ax.
