Somehow i stumbled on this guy`s page from some comment he made on some other page, i literally googled him and looked for him and found he has his own page, he is a mastering engineer.

Talks about loudness, how you shouldnt rely on analyzers, aliasing, sample rate, magic of transients and dynamic mastering, how to make a boring stereo mix into a live like performance with mid-side tricks and so much more..

  4. The 96/24 thing. Most digital EQs and compressors crap out as they approach the Nyquist frequency, 96K pushes that frequency to 48KHz meaning any nyquist issues are so far beyond hearing that top end retains it's detail and clarity when finally converted down to 44.1KHz.

Some plugs use internal oversampling to avoid these issues. So if you must work at 44.1 look for internally oversampling plugs.
