Share good materials... not only videos, books too

 

always good to have some actual books around much easier on the eyes to read, search your local charity shops, its surprising what can be found

 

That's really great nikon, thanks so much for sharing these. I've found some good ones too but I thought people might be put off by the instructor. Personally I really enjoy studying theory whenever I can and I don't stick to one medium, I take knowledge wherever I can get it: books, videos, websites, conversations, etc. That's part of the reason I make reference to external resources in AudioSex Academy. Thanks again mate.

 

I'm not finish any musical school... I'm kind a selfthought person and everything I learned about playing piano and guitar and music in common is from books (earlier, when I was young) and now videos, internet resources... and ofcourse with lot of practice.

I must say this:

Last two nights I watch "music theory workshop" and I learned one little thing. How to quick recognize right scale (ex. Bb) of a song with key signatures.
That just passed me earlier.
All my life I was confirmed by idea - in school, when started, students just learn all that signatures by heart !

So, "VIVERE TOTA VITA DISCENDUM EST" !

 

I love old "Berkley College of music - Harmony" book since 1987. Old, created with typing machine, but well writen.

 

The go-to book in my days (around '95, not that long ago...) in my country is called "Teoría musical y armonía moderna", written by Enric Herrera. I still use it with my Harmony students, such a great, condensed book...
