A solution "similar" to Solution 2 could be that 1 pc (let's say 192.168.1.10) is the virtual mixer connected via USB to card to 1 (stereo) XLR input of the real mixer and all the others N pcs are connected via wifi to that one (same IP above) through ASIO Link Pro network (or similar ASIO routers).

But first, is it feasible? I could try through Virtualbox and see, theoretically it could work, considering that In ALP there are 16 channels giving the way to connect 8 stereo pcs through network.

@Matt Stephens - AV Hi you dislike my post What for? Just asked “How about…?” I can dislike your solution either. I just browsed for multi USB audio hosts and wanted to show you. Have you tried them? I will take a risk again to get another dislike from you then. How about something from Focusrite Rednet.
