how many people work at mt ?

 

i want to love mulab. i was enjoying playing with demo version until i realized, that it cannot work with some of my favorite plugins (mDrummer). it was several years ago (version 7 i guess or maybe even 6). i have tried all of following versions with no success (it was crashing after a while). in this new version i can't even load MDrummer, so this is a show stopper (again) for me, sadly.

Which error message do you get?

 

I doublechecked MDrumer in MuLab 9 and it works fine. Don't know what error you mean. Please elaborate.

Have you tried vst3 version of MDrummer? Because the actual problem i'm having is inability to load any vst3 plugin. These are displayed in the menu, but nothing happens when i try them to load. If i browse for plugin, empty message is displayed.

Anyways, i need vst3 functionality, but maybe that's a problem on my end? But everything is working fine in Reaper..

 

No, MuLab 9.1 does not support VST3 plugins.
However the forthcoming MuLab 9.2 will support the new, innovative and open CLAP plugin standard!

In MuLab 9.2 the 'empty message box' for VST3 plugins will be fixed, essentially saying that VST3 is not supported.
Whether VST3 will be supported or not has not yet been decided.
Hopefully CLAP will become the new open standard.

 

love Mulab ! want to get onboard and sail away from bitwig! mulab 9 demo crashes when scanning the vst2 folder, after 1 sec oc scan - pouf!
please help

 

Which MuLab version are you using?

Pls also email the log file for that crash:
Goto your MuLab install folder, then open the User/LogFiles subfolder, then email the most recent log file to
