May I ask if you used Photoshop to achieve such a result?

 

Sorry to hear that you're "retiring" from wallpaper creation. Your projects are what started me doing Kontakt wallpapers. For those wanting wallpaper for their instrument tabs, you certainly have given them a vast selection to choose from over these many months. Thanks a bunch for all those little shards of art that you've already created.

Too many grains for my taste! Your text will be partly hidden by lack of centering your part.

 

Those grains are an artistic choice, so it's a matter of taste. When I tried to make wallpapers allways failed with the size of them. I can't make a standard size, and I don't know how to do it.

You can create one in Photoshop by doing

&
Height = 96 Pixels

EDIT : soon when i will have free time i will do tutorial on how to make your own wallpapers from the beginning so you will have enough tools to make your own in photoshop without waiting on wallpapers to be available

Yes, I think in some nicnt the wallpaper seems to be "embedded" and allways looks right, or in the right place. That's what I'd like to know. I'm not demanding anything, just curious.

 

Yes, excellent idea. For me, it was just a case of looking at various Kontakt wallpaper sizes, creating templates from them, and then looking for the graphics of those instruments. From a purely "artistic" perspective, it's not entirely necessary to create a wallpaper that identically mirrors the manufacturer's cover or graphic. As long as the graphics you create are reasonable facsimiles (IMHO). Some of these wallpaper designers are quite talented and creative doing these designs (as it were). Thanks, and congrats to you all!

And the whole position of words and design
for example here it is :::



CL Pojects Position BEGIN AT X:Y = 50:39 and should end at X:Y = 177:40
Old School Arps Position BEGIN AT X:Y = 25:60 and should end at X:Y = 209:62

 

100% correct. Thankfully, after you've done many of these over a period of time, eventually you get a real good 'feel' for positioning and measurements. After a while, the process becomes second nature (as it should be). Of course, one still needs to preview the final results in Kontakt.

 

best way is to preview the result in kontakt every time you add something to the wallpaper
by that you can make sure you are doing right the wallpaper
all the measures depend on the font size of the words you are writing
include if you are using the long tab in kontakt or the short one

 

? what's the best editor ? adobe?

 

adobe is not a must. find the one you can handle best. it doesn't matter if it's adobe, corel, gimp or any other software ....
just save your artwork as *.png file and name it "wallpaper".
