    Hey mate. I'd be happy to, but it seems your soundcloud link is invalid.

    I know, I'm having some hard time with Soundcloud tags... Anybody can help maybe?

    EDIT: Solved! Everyone should be able to listen to the track now (hopefully)...

    Okay, listened to it! I like it I'd only recommend to very slightly tone down the velocity on the hihat from the start to about 0.48, where the beat kicks in. Otherwise, I love it!

    Thank you Demon, I will take this into account for the next track hopefully.

    great track i like it but u have to work on EQiNG the low frequencies between the bass sound and the kick (give some room for the low end)
    and for the lead try to reduce it by 9% Or 10%

    EDIT : for the intro there is no coherence in it

    as for first track you are really good at what you do (it's all about mixing that's all) keep it up

    Each instrument track is melodically foreign to the next. Get the tracks in tune with one another before anything else. Right now the keys are off.

    Guys,

    Your feedback are priceless, thank you very much for your time and patience.

    @Mr_Amine,
    Great advices. To be honest it took almost a month to finish the track (not full time fortunately).

    @dbmuzik,
    Thanks for your advice but since I don't have any music theory background, it will be very hard to apply it right now.

    @Kookaboo,
    Thanks for your comments.

    @One Reason,
    Thank you, I'm not sure either what kind of music it's supposed to be...

    That's not what counts i.m.o. It could be a cool Jingle or intro music for a TV Sport transmission...or similar.
    Remember Jean Michel Jarre's music has been *adopted* for various transmissions,
    and it didn't fit in any mainstream music styles! He created an own style.

    I agree I think what you make will always eventually fit into a genre. If you make good music people will like it and listen to it regardless of whether it suits a particular genre. I think pushing genre boundaries is good anyway.
    In terms of the track I'm a fan, it's something different :)
    Id just work on the EQ and maybe have some more variation in some sections. And I'm not sure if it was just my terrible headphones at the time but it sounded like certain things were peaking? They might not have been but don't worry about loudness if you are, limiters can destroy tracks if used to harshly :)
    Anyway good job :)

    IMHO Sounds like a start to me I hear distortion in the drums and bass and as other have said the the key is off I think it's your bass on certain notes. This is just my option. I look forward in hearing the finished product.

    Yeah it sounds like starting point to me also, needs some more movement, maybe up tempo, and just some more going on overall. Like the smooth padsy sound, but then I always seem to like that, the synth lead sounds a little rambly, no definitive form to it.

    Could do with a little stronger, more present bass sound too... Don't mean to knock your track.
    just some thoughts on what would make it sound better for me...

    Good job. I like it. Have you tried passing the padz synth channel through hi-pass and lo-pass filters and automating the cutoffs of each filter?

    Sorry if that's too vague to be of much use. If I knew which DaW you're using, we could maybe drill down a little deeper into the detail on how to create an automation track for your vst filters.

    @Kookaboo,
    I didn't try to be that different, it just came like this, don't ask me why or how. :)

    @Ben,
    Thanks for your advice. As a matter of fact, you might have a point regarding the EQ.

    @midi-man,
    Thanks for your suggestions

    @Herr Durr,
    Thank you, your comment is more than welcome. This is exactly why I posted my tune in this forum and not anywhere else.

    @DarthFader,
    Thanks but I'm not even sure to understand your first sentance. As of my DAW, I'm using Studio One (always grateful to Demon for this).

    Well, you asked for my opinion but it seems like you have lot's of em already so I'll keep it short.

    The sounds are a bit harsh, specially that synth. Try to tame down some of the dynamics and round out the sounds more, have them glued better.

    That bass is a mess, the notes are off, sometimes by function and sometimes by complete dissonance that even if intentional, sounds like a badly stretched sample.

    IMO, your first step should be training your hear/perception, to enable able you to figure out correct bass lines or at least to hear flagrant dissonance.

    No worries. Apologies for being as vague as a shadow in the fog. i guess i could have said, "Add a slow Wahwah effect to the pad". Here's an example of what I mean. The effect is exaggerated, of course, for.... um.... effect.

    Thanks for your feedback. Regarding your very last sentance, is there any way you can suggest some material that will help me? Please feel free to PM me for this purpose...

    @DarthFader,
    Great, now I got it! A very interesting effect indeed. Thanks again!
