does anybody work with?

 

I'm about to start in with MPE. I recently got an Artiphon Instrument One which supports it. It has a guitar fret board, but you can play it more like a keyboard too, so multiple ways to add polyphonic expression. Looking at exploring MPE with UVI Falcon, Omnisphere, Vital, and Diva initially. I also am considering the new version of the Keith McMillen QuNexus keyboard which supports MPE, for composing. I'm hoping it will be better than drawing all the expression and bends in MIDI piano roll. More creative, less process.

how easy was the implementation of the artiphon in falcon? is there a lot to configure, or is it just plug and play?

 

Haven't done it yet. It's a new build I'm finishing this weekend. Old PC got backed up and paved over with Linux. Hope to try this weekend. The Reaper integration is what I'm wondering about.

 

hi guys, i really would want to have a MPE thread here on audiosex, where we exchange our experiences with and could learn from each other. is there interest for? i dont want to to bother anyone! if not i go somewhere else with my special interest

 

I use a Sensel Morph, which is fab, my MPE goto synths are Equator2, alos use Cobalt8m and my hydrasynth with the sensel morph, and great too.

 

There will be interest. But not many people have controllers with MPE support yet.

 

are cobalt and hydra harwaresynths or vstis?
