Had to move Omni from an older MAC to a more recent PC.
I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to export rated patches. Probably a preference files somewhere that would contain that data. Would anyone know which file that would be and how to do this properly not screw up the app !?

 

the user ratings are stored in teh STEAM folder:

eg here on PC:
C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\STEAM\Omnisphere\Settings Library\User Tags\prt_omn.index

Actually that transferred my "project" files (user banks) which is great but it didn't copy my "starred" patches.

 

I found out how patch ratings works.
Essentially there is the file [prt_omn.index] where all that info resides and it's store inside each user directories (3rd party sound banks)
The installed libraries will be listed here:
C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\STEAM\Omnisphere\Settings Library\Patches
(on MAC STEAM\Omnisphere\Settings Library\Patches)

So if like me you move Omnisphere from MAC to PC or you re-install it fresh and you want to copy your rated patches from a backup you'll have to copy and paste the file [prt_omn.index] inside each library.
