I have a Motu 16a audio interface and would like to use external effects.

I've already watched some videos on Youtube, but somehow it doesn't work for me.
In Germany, the company Klemm Music provides the support and they also sent me an email with instructions, but that's too complicated for me.
I think it's just a routing problem.
Maybe someone can help me here.

Nothing wrong with your English. What DAW do you use, if any? What outboard gear (brand/type)? What are you trying to accomplish?
Do you need to work with Motu's Cuemix software?
Maybe put the content of that email here, there's a couple of Deutschers here that could help.

I use Cubase 12 Pro and a xl logic superanalogue cs.
I want to include it for mixing, also a DBX Compressor as well.
No I don't work with cuemix, I do everything in cubase.

Öffne Motu Pro Audio Control in deinem Browser. Geh auf den Routing Tab. Dort siehst du alle deine Ein- und Ausgänge.
Die obere Reihe von links nach rechts sind deine Eingänge. Die linke Reihe von oben nach unten sind deine Ausgänge.

Uns interessieren für die Eingänge folgende Reiter:

• Analog 1-16
• From Computer 1-16

Und für die Ausgänge:

• Analog 1-16
• To Computer 1-16

Setze die Punkte in der Routing-Matrix so, dass

1. die Eingänge From Computer 1-16 auf die Ausgänge Analog 1-16 geroutet werden
2. die Eingänge Analog 1-16 auf die Ausgänge To Computer 1-16 geroutet werden.

Ooops, ich hab mich verlesen. Beim Einbinden in Cubase kann ich dir nicht weiterhelfen. Müsste aber ähnlich funktionieren, wie bei Logic und allen anderen.
