non of my roms are loading in V19 Emu
any idea?
Do i need to update the roms/bin files?
win10 latest ableton

 

I must say - that Galaxpel skin is beautiful to the eyes.

 

Presets are confusing for this, when I save something it gets saved as a separate .syx file, but I see banks with tons of presets saved within a .syx

Could someone please tell me how to do this? As it is now I have to click twice to open every preset and it's a bit frustrating. Sorry if this has been discussed before

The best way is to have a library folder set up. I have collected all those available I could find and reorganized.
I'll PM with a link to that - read the txt inside for info.

Once you have that set up, no matter what ROM choose to load with the emulator, you can click on the "Presets" button, browse to where your Access Virus Lib folder is and have access to many banks for which the presets load with one click.
That allows you to easily have a midi track running and just switch presets until you find a good one.
I use the Virus C 6.5 "virus_c_650x352_6v5" because I have enough CPU for it so far and to my understanding it's the most recent, except for the 6.6 which was a failed attempt to fix an arp problem and might use a bit more CPU.

This emulation is so darn good. Using it on my M1 MacBook Pro without a hitch, so far.

 

i found the problem "no roms could be loaded"

thanks to the plugin scan of Sam. I saw every instance of the emu being scanned
But only one threw the aforementioned error (during scan)
You think "every instance?" I Explain
I have one main Virus_Folder
and then sub Folders with Virus B,C,Rack and so on, so that i can (test) and play around with
all the differing versions, without copying the ROMs/.bin every time i want to try a different Version
SO:
I accidentally copied an Emu DLL into the MAIN folder (that only has the subfolders(therefore no .bin )
and depending on DAWs Like Ableton, Steinberg
The 1st therefore main DLL referenced is that first lonely DLL
In Ableton: even though you load the emu from the subfolder, it doesn't see the bin
Nuendo Hides all the DLLs besides the one in the main folder

Bitwig and Samplitude load and show all DLLs

SO:
Self inflicted Glitch but still interesting how the Daws Behave.
Everything works fine and even Better than before
how fast the the Test Console for VirusC jumped from 220 to 456 Mips in less than 5 months, hats off

Strange problem now with FL.Studio.20.8.4.2576+Add.Plugs-2022.03.15.
I can load my project with 5 instances and it runs perfectly, but if I click to open the GUI FL Studio crashes.
It was June 15th that i updated FL Studio (from v20.8.3.2304), but I think it worked OK after that...
So I am wondering if anyone else is having a problem with 20.8.4.2576 & DSP56300emu...

The crash is : everything closes & generic kind of crash log.

The "OsTIrus" interface looks nice... is that available somewhere??... I DL'd the VST3 recently but my interface is still the old Osirus one

 

It seems that is only for the TI in development:
"The two videos below have been recorded with an early alpha version of the TI emulator."

can you copy me as well? thanks. there are still some uncirculated ones, I believe. i'd like to look at which haven't been already purchased and sounds used on other peoples recordings already. or maybe track down some that haven't.
