If I understood correctly, it's the same situation as an emulator like the MAME. Yes, the emulator is free, but without ROMs you can't play any game, and having the ROM without owning the original game is illegal.

That's exactly the situation. The emulator itself is completely legal. The ROMs themselves and the sharing of them -- not so much. Which is why the emulator doesn't come packaged with them.

 

Ppl that are able to understand daws should be able to discover discord and handle a search engine, don't they? No need to put on sister.

Wow...
The 1.2.2 is really really good.
The preset browser is the fastest i´ve ever seen in any VIRUS C Gui Software.

I think, that the CPU Usage was a bit optimized.
Ultra heavy patches still stuck on my cpu.
But some "middle weight" patches play better than with previous versions.

And i played some Chords and Arpeggiators with the reason Rack plugin mapped to the DSP.
And holy shit what a phat sound.
The room and space which the Virus Reverb is creating is unbeatable.

I’m having trouble believing that, it’s literally the first result on google when you type “Virus C ROM”

 

What would be the point in this? Why not wait for stable versions to just appear on our site?

 

Is there any other Roms that work with this apart from the Virus ones mentioned

Yes I got Access Virus C (am29f040b_6v6).zip and Access Virus B (am29f040b_4v9).zip I put one in the folder like the instructions said but I don't see and presets.

 

Sounds like you need to extract the .bin file from the .zip and place it next to the .dll file
