It's a bit subjective... I like Softube but Legend and Diva are both fine. MiniMonsta is ok and has some good features. A couple, like UAD and Monarch I haven't tried.

Synapse Legend is my lady, my love, my heart...and her father really didn't need to hold that shotgun at my back during our wedding ceremony, I would never have run out on her or left Mini barefoot and pregnant.

Don't know about accuracy: never touched the hardware. But from albuns that featured one, I think all of them can, in a mix, sound like a moog for basic/famous moog sounds.

Things only get different to my ears when using extreme settings (extreme filter settings and modulation, for instance).

Never tested UAD, or the ones available for Mac/ios. And I disliked the new Gforce one (prefered the original, the first incarnation) and the Air one.

I personally think diva sounds the most analog i have a matriarch and I dunno if it's the oscillators or the filters but it just gives me that same vibe .. which is weird because it's old code .. but u-he definitely know what they are doin over there

I remember a Youtube video in which the guy compared a real Mini Moog with several software ones, and Legend's and Monark's frequency response and oscillator waveforms looked closest to it. Diva looked pretty close, too. If I remember correctly he also compared Arturia's Mini Moog and GForce's MiniMonster. One of them looked clearly different, but I can't remember which one (but think Arturia's MM).

    Found it! -https://www.synthtopia.com/content/2017/03/31/software-minimoog-synth-shootout/

However, I'm of the opinion that if something sounds good, it is good. Doesn't have to be 100% emulation.

They are different synths, the HZ being a beast compared to It's older sister. HZ has a 12 slot Modulation Matrix, twice the oscillators (6 vs 3) three times the voices (12 vs 4, the HZ giving you 4 and 8 options), the HZ having four MSEGs and The Legend one. Don't quote me, but whereas the HZ has a nifty random patch generator, what is called "Genetics", The Legend doesn't have that capability. To me the HZ somehow has more a crunchy analog sound. I REALLY like the HZ. It's expensive but it is a monster.

I have Uad Minimoog and I have mapped it to Novation Launch Control XL for full control . I prefer it in terms of feel and sound to the other emulations. I own Sofube Model 82 and 84 and it's been over a year since I've demoed Model 72 , but from my memory it was the only thing on par with UAD.UAD sounds more like Minimoog Model D reissue where Model 72 sounds like early revisions OLD OSC board Model D.I love dedicated LFO on UAD version with S+H and also I would say that UAD is closer in terms of Overdrive circuit to the original .
Also , these days you can get new Behringer Model D for like 200$ and thats better then every plugin out there .
Legend is great for poly patches but for mono I would pick UAD or Softube any day...
