Hey everyone,
it's time for a new track of my metal band Mors Cordis.

I did the whole production of it and spent a lot of time with it. The lyrics were written by Susanne Franzmeyer, the music by us. She also did the additional vocals. Btw. I am the vocalist.

Some background info:

This track was produced for a radio play called "Stilübungen musikalisch" (Exercises in musical styles) together with Susanne Franzmeyer. The same story is told in different musical styles and is meant as a homage to Raymond Queneau and his Exercises in styles (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exercises_in_Style) translated into the world of musical genres. Our Metal track is the 7th style. The Video was done by Susanne as well.

Good old death metal

 

Metal-head here though is not my sub-genre.
I like it, room for improvement but not bad at all. Good vocalists.

 

Hey guys ... that was fast ... thanks for listening and your kind words. @Xupito please let me know, what can be done better? I really want to know how I can improve my sound ... soundcloud is also maybe not the best choice for playback (because of their 128 kbps) ... additionally it is mastered loud (but hey it's Metal). Maybe you can give me some hints what you mean.

Btw. I would say it's not really Death Metal but I also don't really care about it .
