Hello to all . This is my small contribution to the scene .
Download the new Electra 2 demo and install . After that copy the three electra folders (ElectraX_data , ElectraX_sounds , ElectraX_wavetables)and after they copy the new sounds , skip the remaining (not overwrite).
Voila , new sounds for electraX

Indeed I downloaded the Electra2 yesterday but did not try the trick yet.
Good that they made it backwards compatible + working also for older machines.

 

You are welcome , Kookaboo . Glad I can help ... In my opinion this Electra2 was better use as an update , not a hole new synth . But in this life , some want to make money .

I agree, but have you seen all the New features? (Link above).
Of course they want to sell - no doubt about it - hence bringing an (apparently) "new" Synth
catches the attention of the people + then it gets displayed on many sites and reviewed.
Personally i like the older GUI better! It's a riddle to me why devs always tend to bring boring grey interfaces.

 

The let's hope for a DOA release ?

 

Electra2 is downward compatible with the previous version!

your right but all the new reverbs and wavetables and new features dont carry over to new version..n e one know how to get those ?
