Probably the most striking product at the show was Moog's 50th anniversary recreation of Keith Emerson's Moog modular system. Watch the video to learn more about how Moog did it, and to hear some vintage modular sounds.

Yes, and then let's find a nice castle for all 50 of us synth tweakers and each one will have to re-create some Keith Emerson, some Isao Tomita and some Wendy Carlos sounds on it. When we're done, we copy these sounds to, let's say, Arturia Moog Modular and post them as free downloads here *yes*

 

Sounds like a plan. I'll donate the castle but someone else has to do the cleaning, the castle is really old and dusty.

Definitely doable with 50 people involved. Big cleaning brushes, a powerful vacuum cleaner (AudioZ brand preferred, they're able to pull really everything inside) and, not to forget, good music around.
And I think that even old and dusty would be a perfect match for the 50-years-anniversary Moog

To make all the work more enjoyable, I'll even bring some coffee. Good italian coffee.

Do you know why synth/effects presets are called "snapshots" ?
Because before digital presets...ppl took instant snapshots with cameras to remember their settings. Apart paper, of course.
I learned that from a Spectrasonic video, i never thought about that
