I found a very interesting video with Monolake (Robert Henke) talking about his creative process and how he uses his self-made controller, along with Cycling‘74 MAX and Ableton Live.

For me this guy is a genius, whatever you like his music or not.

Also, have in mind, all you ableton live fans, that this guy was one of the minds behind it, and was heavily involved in its initial design stage.

his music sort of reminds me of the old jungle music back in the early 90
but alot more futuristic than the old skool sounds, :boombox:

Isn't this at least 4 years old?
I hope his tics has gotten better (swallowing, caughing, face tics, etc).
    Brilliant guy.

Don‘t know the date. Yeah looks from that time... but I never stated it was new! That it was interesting.
Even old (not so old, it‘s not from the 90‘s if you know what I mean... ) I thought that maybe it would be interesting for someone else, as it was for me.

It's good I agree. Just got the impression that it was new.

Heck, I even remember his MonoDeck I, which was more like a prototype to this MonoDeck II.

    hey, Monolake lovers,

cern, released on momentum, in the great year of 2003 (if, when, this spongiformicatisated tissue mass instead of some brain in me cranium does not play its usual tricks (instead of recalling clearly (... lie, just checked my mp3 folder))). *yes*

all the best for all of us (including new releases from his excellence)...
