A guy asked about pro tools HD. I asked why even use the program without investing in the hardware that's made for it, so you can work in a actual HD enviroment. Apperantly that's offensive and provocative. Is this group not a place to debate and share opposing views and ideas? Or do the mods just run a nazi fascist type blog here? Censoring everything they deem offensive and calling it trolling, even if it doesn't remotely fit the definition of the word?

I wish that there is a way when a reply get's deleted the user gets a notification who and why did it (if this isn't already the case), then he can talk privately to the moderator instead of creating useless threads...

 

did u give an answer to the question?u didn t .All u did was suggesting the guy to use reaper or studio one.did he ask for an alternative?no. then that s trolling.If u want to reccommend other software open a thread for that,because pt users are sick and tired of people bashing pt for other software that nobody gives a fuck about.The music industry speaks pro tools,whether u like it or not.the record industry doesnt use motu, doesn t use cubase, doesn t use logic, doesn t use studio one and so on.some great names might use other daws at home but in the end when they have to finish the project they use pro tools .U r free not to like it,but as a pt user, i dont care if people like it or not, if i read a thread about pt i dont wanna read shit about other stuff.

I find it very strange your comments were removed. Yes, I saw them reported, but dismissed it as it wasn't trolling in my book. Maybe should've closed the reports on that, my mistake.
Anyways, I agree with your point and will discuss this matter closely with other mods, maybe I am the one who's wrong.

The suggesting another daw did not bother me. Its the on and on never ending bs that bothered me.
