Hello people from the world, i've realized these are everywhere from softube to akai, arturia. yamaha and many more. What on earth doeas MK II mean?
Here is some info regarding "MK 1" (easier to find), and easy to see how "MK 2" follows. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_I#:~:text=Mark I or Mark 1,itself be abbreviated "Mk."
I suspect that in older days when designing engines and other things the engineer would simply “mark” the part with a couple of scratches to show which was v2.
A pro sounding and cooler way to say "Version 2". It is a well known marketing BS which just works. MK means Mark. II is roman numeral for 2.
originally its an equation, almost impossible to grasp for the human brain so only computers manage, it has to do with the angle of some circuits. anyway so for us brutes they simply call it: Mark, Mark2 as in Line2 or Point2 or Brand2 or Version2.
If none of the above works you can use this. It will take care of the problem. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mk_2_grenade
