Mixing Questions, Sends vs Regular tracks

    Is there any difference making my drum buss on a "send" channel or just a regular track that I route all my drum pieces into? Can someone explain all of this? Also When Mixing I am getting away from mixing with mastering plugins on for obvious reasons. I am just mixing with -4 headroom and a fruity limiter on and some mastering EQ. Any other suggestions for this?
