    Hey Guys!

I was mixing my acoustic guitar that I recorded with a Mic condenser and a virtual acoustic guitar.
I would like your opinion
Do you like it? sounds good ? bad? what do you think?

    Depends.
    Playing, pretty good.
    Sound, differs.
    Dynamics, differ at three points.

I don't think you're trying to match their sounds, but you're asking if they compliment each other nicely, right? I do like it! Being annoying, I would double-check the edit(?) at 0:14, something seems a bit off. Other than that, good job!

I wasn't sure if you tried to match the sounds (because of the name of the file).

    Thanks!!
yes ( I wrong in name of the file) as Matheus Oliveira said, more than coinciding, it's like listening to the sound, if they work well together, if you think they managed to go hand in hand. How do you perceive it and what would you recommend me to do so that they merge better?

I hope one day I can learn English well) :

Why? Nothing wrong with sounding different.

good point. You're right, they don't have to sound the same. I actually try to make them work together and make it feel like it's a real guitar and not a mix between real and virtual. Let's say that's what I want to achieve. It doesn't look like a virtual guitar

It sounds passable to me. In a mix, as just "the instruments playing", it would be hard to tell. When you put it out front, in solo, or point it out to someone else to listen for; well that's always when someone notices it anyway. Play it for someone without telling them before they listen. I bet they won't even mention it. Just remember, you will always know. You can try to stick them together with your ProC2 at a low ratio around 1.25:1. Almost imperceptible glue. :blues:

I do this on pretty much every single track I record that has acoustic guitar on it. I do a stereo stack live guitar and layer it with NI Strummed Acoustic and it always sounds amazing, each one sells the other better than they will be on their own. But of course it only works on relatively straightforward rhythm parts. In a mix.

    thanks!
Yeah exactly, it's going to go into a mix, I put it in just for you guys to hear if there were any significant details.
Thanks for the advice ProC2, I'll give it a try.
I used the exact same NI guitar. If I also use a simple rhythm, I haven't tried more complicated rhythms yet. Thank you !

I like the overall sound. Perhaps it could be a touch brighter. I notice too that each chord sounds progressively boxier - this could be a problem but depends on context. Maybe a small amount of low-mid dynamic EQ could help.
