Just "finished" this mix and looking for some constructive feedback on the mix. The music is what is is ... sci-fi , indie , dance-rock. The band is a comic book band (have their own comic..etc) so yeah .. not really going for the sexy rockstar thing here. Mid 30's immature dorks? hell yeah ... ;-)

Mix sounds ok, maybe some De-essing should be applied, specially in the chorus. About the arrangement, the first 90 secs are very repetitive, I'd start the track differently, maybe with the chorus or the chorus riff.

- DeEsser was removed because it was killing the sound of the vocal. I may have to just automate the de-essing.
- Arrangement. yeah ... that's another person's decision. This tune is going to have a whole comic/visual thing to it (live show and video) so i'm sure the space in the intro will be used for some kind of visual storyline.

 

Sorry, I'm incapable of offering criticism except I think my ears expect a bit more 'air', if that's the right term. I like the last part - guitars sound good. It's an odd sort of music to my ears. Good luck!

 

The music is just plain weird. Some experts have accurately described our music as "shit" ...which makes us smile. We prefer "stupid" over "cool" ;-)
