I recently opened up a project because a client requested a revision, and I noticed that Lo-Fi Vibes is missing from the Player. I launched Native Access and saw it's gone from there too. I reinstalled Komplete Start from scratch, but it's still missing — and there's no serial number either. Just to be clear, I'm not asking for warez, since this expansion is completely free — but is there any chance someone still has the installer saved and would be willing to share it? It is a key part of the project, and I'd really appreciate any help.

 

Unlike the other Leap libraries, Lo-Fi Vibes is normally integrated into the Kontakt 8 Installer. Are you certain it's not installed already?

I just did a clean re-install of my system and Lo-Fi Vibes is the only library showing in the "Leap" tab, but it took a few minutes to show up, because it was the first time I ran Kontakt 8.

 

Looks like is not and I've already tried to reinstall Komplete Start (I'm just using the free stuff) a couple of times by now. Well... I'll leave it open for a while, let's see if it fixes itself.

 

I'm not certain if Lo-Fi Vibes is included with the Player version. Does it show "Piano Uno" under the instruments tab?

Also, check this folder on your computer, mine here has "Piano Uno" and "Lo-Fi Vibes" Folders.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt 8\Content\Presets

 

Piano Uno is the only one available. No Lo Fi Vibes folder. Odd...

 

Yeah strange, even the Kontakt 8 Player official page mentions the library.

"Kontakt 8 Player comes with two Leap Expansions to get you started, with laid-back kits and melodics from Lo-fi Vibes, and essential organic rhythms from Acoustic Drums."

 

I got in touch with the customer service, they are aware of the issues with Leap and they are working on it.
