    @odink, yes it looks really nice but has some major drawbacks.
    Firstly, it has no round-robin samples at all and this is very obvious and annoying with percussion sounds.
    Secondly, you can hardly use any of the solo instruments. They have big sound difference in adjectent sample zones and even worse the pan of these zones differs largely.

    I certainly agree with what you wrote especially if we compare it to Spitfire's libs.

    Nonetheless, the guy was just asking for a manual, nothing more and is apparently already happy with this lib, so who am I to tell him that this lib is a bit obsolete LOL.

    Ah, since you didn't mention it in the tread title or first post here, I assumed you're talking of v1, which was the one I referred to.

    Since IKM doesn't mention any RR samples, even v2 probaly doesn't have them, but if they improved the single instruments I don't know.

    I think there's nothing like a general recommendation, it depends on the genre, disk space, RAM, versatility, Kontakt or not.

    In addition to it, I'm looking for one too and haven't made a decision, so far.

    @No Avenger: Looks like they included RR in P2, where appropriate (whatever that means) :unsure:

    From IK Website: "And, where appropriate, Miroslav Philharmonik 2 also takes advantage of round robin playback for an extra level of realism that provides multiple takes of the same note."

    the combos are the cool part of this instrument...the solo instruments are nothing to write home about
