If you had a chance to buy a legit copy which one would you prefer? and Why?

Minimal Audio Current or Uvi Falcon

UVI Falcon is - for me - something like Kontakt, just with more features and "easier" but more complex.
I don't know "Current", I'd go for Serum or Avenger2...

 

Thank you for your reply... I ve Sylenth1, Hive, Zebra, Serum, Vital, Massive, Diva, Avenger2, Kontakt .... I just want to extend my synth collection with a useful one...

 

I own current, didn't have the time to play with as much as I want but I like it very much already!
Very nice UI, the modulations are great, good sounds/preset, nice FX, usually I don't use synth's internal FXs much but those in current are great!
I think it could replace serum for me ...

until the day you get Serum 2. i think of Current as more jockeying for Serum's audience than for Falcon.
But Serum is about 10 years old. It was way ahead of most other synths of it's same timeframe. It will go on sale the day after you buy Current.

 

Current is soon released on sister site, so you don't need to buy that

can't see Spire on your list, the 6.5hours sound design series on https://www.sonicacademy.com/courses/spire-with-echo-sound-works is pretty good one

 

Falcon is not a synth or a sampler it's the greatest and very inspirational music environment made today so it can be very deep if you need it and Current looks more like Arturia Pigments copy

 

I own falcon it is very amazing
I haven't used Current because the trailer videos made it look profoundly uninteresting

 

neither buy an island, or a mac instead

jokes aside
both have fantastic sounds and presets, dont have dived deeply into current yet
but first impression i would say
if you like tinkering, Falcon by far the better option
Classic Synthesis + a different flavor, Current (and really great presets, that give you deep insights)

 

if you want to get scammed, go for it

 

Spire is old and not updated since... I dont even remember when.

 

There might be a language barrier or something, but how is either of them a scam?

 

it's not abandoned at least (got a new vst3 version this year) but as far as non-minor updates and bugfixes it's been like 2019

 

Personally, as someone who is more into tweaking good presets, only thing I would consider adding to this list would be Omnisphere, maybe Nexus as an rompler. What kind of genres are you messing with?

Pigments looks interesting to me, but do you really need another behemoth do it all synth?

Also, maybe just get nice 3rd party bank for the synth you already own.

Yes I ve them all as well Omnisphere Nexus and All Arturia stuffs

 

What kind of genres are you messing with, maybe I could pull some odd specialized one for the genre, but besides that, you have them all, so at this point, only you can find value in either Current or Falcon, I tried both and personally find them not my cup of tea, but they are amazing nonetheless.
